Dr Caroline Catt specialises in paediatric & general ophthalmology, and strabismus, including cataract surgery and strabismus surgery. She graduated with degrees from the University of Sydney and the Flinders University of South Australia and completed her ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, where she was appointed the Professorial Fellow. She undertook her fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, to expand her training in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery. She was the recipient of the prestigious Dr JD Morin award for excellence as a clinical fellow in the areas of clinical care, research and education. 

Dr Catt is friendly, empathic and gives the time and attention required to understanding her patient’s needs. She undertakes research in clinical ophthalmology, has published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at international scientific meetings. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Sydney, Department of Ophthalmology and is a CASA-certified Designated Aviation Ophthalmologist.
